These Smokin' Greens are a holiday favorite of mine. Savory, delicious, and full of flavor. You definitely won't miss the meat!

What you need

black peppercorn

seasoned salt

red onion
tsp chili flakes

lb collard leaves

jalapeno

baking soda

garlic

tsp liquid smoke
Instructions
Line a large pot with veggie broth. Saute onions, garlic, and jalapeno on medium heat until fragrant and tender. Add in vegetable broth, red chili flakes, smoked salt, and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add your greens. Stir to make sure all the greens get coated. Add a dash of baking soda to help tenderize the greens. Reduce heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 1 to 2 hours, depending on how tender you like your greens. Serve!View original recipe
