cup quick cooking grits
Instructions
Add water to a medium sized pot. Bring water to a boil, then add grits. Reduce temperature to low and cover. Stir occasionally for about 5 minutes, making sure to get out any clumps. Add butter into your grits and continue simmering for about 10 minutes. Whisk in your plant milk (cashew milk is recommended for thickness, but any non-dairy milk can be used). Keep stirring occasionally, checking for clumps, and tasting to see if you need more salt. Once grits are thick and creamy to your liking, remove from heat and serve.View original recipe
